Capturing the beauty of nature is truly Allison's calling. She creates art that speaks to your soul. Her color combinations are inspired and just plain beautiful. She can interpret motion and imply energy whether it's a 'simple' wave she has painted or a horse or a specific place. If you commission Allison, she will make certain she is meeting your vision. I asked her to paint a wave as my husband's 40th bday present and she impressed me with her integrity, detailed knowledge and artistic process. She offered to come to the house to see where the painting will be displayed and assess the light in the room. She brought surfing magazines for my husband to figure out what sort of wave captured his imagination, discussed what he liked about it, discussed colors and light effects, asked about the significance and emotional meaning etc. so as to draw a mental idea of what you are hoping to finally 'see' so that she can manifest it for you in a painting. She discussed frames or no frames, contemporary or traditional styles and when it was done, she let us have it for a while so we could determine if we wanted to change anything. She also made suggestions on where to hang it or how to do a grouping etc. From start to finish, the process was a pleasure - easy and fun and the final painting is exactly what my husband had hoped for. We currently own 3 originals from Allison.

To describe the artistic endeavors of Allison Coelho Picone as inspiring would be but a minor description. The act of putting paint to canvas goes far beyond the mechanical, it opens that window to the artists’ soul.
